Itinerary
Day 1 Sit back and relax as we travel south to Devon, with comfort stops along the way. As the palm trees and sweeping bay views appear, you’ll know you’ve arrival somewhere special. We check in to the elegant Headland Hotel, your home for the next three nights. Take some time to settle in and relax, perhaps enjoy a pre-dinner drink before dinner is served.
Day 2 Today, we’ll visit the vibrant Ocean City of Plymouth, where you’ll find stunning coastal views, a rich maritime history, and a lively cultural scene. Stroll along the historic Barbican or explore Plymouth Hoe with its spectacular ocean panoramas. You may choose to visit the UK’s largest aquarium, the National Marine Aquarium, or explore the city’s museums and attractions. From shopping to entertainment, Plymouth offers something for everyone.
Day 3 Enjoy a free day to explore Torquay at your leisure. In the morning, we’ll drop you off in the heart of town, where you can immerse yourself in Torquay’s charm. The town centre boasts excellent shopping, delightful cafes, and a vibrant waterfront area. Early afternoon, we’ll collect you to return to the hotel for another evening of relaxation and fine dining.
Day 4 After a leisurely breakfast, we bid farewell to Torquay and begin our journey home, breaking the journey with a visit to Exeter. Dominated by its magnificent Cathedral, this compact city is perfect for a relaxed stop. Wander the charming, cobbled streets, explore the independent shops, or enjoy coffee on Cathedral Green. It’s the perfect way to round off your holiday before returning home with wonderful memories of South Devon.
