Itinerary

Day 1 Join us as we explore the very best of Kent, known as the Garden of England, a beautiful county. Our first stop is at Bluewater Shopping Centre, one of the UK’s premier retail destinations, where you can browse over 300 shops. Later, we continue to our hotel in Gillingham, arriving late afternoon to check in and settle into your room before dinner is served.

Day 2 - After breakfast, we head to the Kent coast where you’ll have the option of spending the day in Margate or Broadstairs. Choose Margate for its sandy beaches, art galleries and lively old town, or opt for Broadstairs, a charming resort with Dickensian heritage and golden sands. Whichever you choose, you’ll enjoy the seaside at leisure.

Day 3 - This morning, we enjoy a nostalgic journey aboard the Kent & East Sussex Railway, travelling in heritage carriages through the rolling Wealden countryside. Our line takes us to Bodiam, a historic village dating back to Roman settlement and best known for the magnificent Bodiam Castle. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy in Gillingham. Perhaps visit the nearby Historic Dockyard Chatham, a 20 minute walk away, or take a gentle stroll along Gillingham High Street.

Day 4 - Today we visit the magnificent Leeds Castle, often described as “the loveliest castle in the world.” Set within 500 acres of parkland and gardens, it offers a fascinating glimpse into 900 years of history. Take time to explore the castle, stroll through the beautiful grounds, or enjoy the cafés before our farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 – The last day of our holiday begins with a visit to the Yotes Court Vineyard in the beautiful Kent countryside, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting, discovering the art of English winemaking. Afterwards, we continue our journey home, reflecting on the wonderful memories made.
