St. Albans, located in Hertfordshire has a rich history dating back to Roman times. It is named after Saint Alban, the first British martyr, who was executed here around 304 AD. The city features the stunning St. Albans Cathedral, the medieval Verulamium Museum, Court House Museum & Gallery and Roman ruins. You can also enjoy the picturesque Abbey Orchard and the charming streets of the city center on a market day.
