Itinerary

Day 1 Morning: Kickstart your break with a visit to the fabulous Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, set in 50 acres of scenic lakes and parkland, this shopping haven is home to over 300 stores and more than 50 restaurants, cafés, and bars. Whether you’re after a bit of retail therapy, a gourmet lunch, or just soaking up the lively atmosphere, Bluewater has you covered. 

Afternoon: Afterwards, we’ll make our way to the lovely Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa, where a warm welcome awaits. To help settle in, a scrumptious traditional afternoon tea will be served the perfect treat to ease into holiday mode. If you fancy, why not make the most of the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities? Take a dip in the pool, unwind in the sauna, or simply relax before this evening’s delicious dinner. 

Day 2 After a relaxed breakfast, we’ll head into the charming town of Rochester, famed as a favourite haunt of Charles Dickens, the town’s picturesque streets, ancient buildings, and literary connections make it a joy to explore. Start your visit with a look around Rochester Cathedral, founded in 604 AD and the second oldest cathedral in England. Then, perhaps head to the impressive Rochester Castle, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views from the top. Take a leisurely stroll down Rochester’s quaint High Street, packed with independent shops, quirky boutiques, cafés, and pubs or treat yourself to a lunch.
