Faversham & Whitstable
Two gorgeous towns in one day
Faversham, the oldest market town in Kent and recorded in the Doomsday Book, is bursting with history and located on a winding creek. Faversham has an amazing array of independent shops, and a reputation for fine foods. In the afternoon we visit the seaside town of Whitstable, famous for its oysters. This charming port has been dubbed the Pearl of Kent and is brimming with seafood restaurants, picturesque lanes, boutique shops and art galleries. With a long promenade, the shingle beach front is great for walking.
