Itinerary
Day 1 (Christmas Eve) Embark on our journey to Torquay with comfort stops along the way, for a delightful weekend at the Headland Hotel. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with tea, coffee and a mince pie. After checking in and some relaxation time, a sumptuous dinner will be served in the Romanoff restaurant.
Day 2 (Christmas day) Following breakfast, we will visit Exeter, a vibrant city rich in history. Explore The Quayside, known for its fascinating past and vibrant dining scene. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the majestic Exeter Cathedral, a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. Experience the festive atmosphere at the Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market, featuring over a hundred festive stalls offering something for everyone.
Day 3 (New Years Eve) Enjoy a leisurely day exploring Torquay at your own pace, a classic British seaside town renowned for its sandy beaches and charming Victorian architecture. Take a stroll along the palm-lined promenade and Princess Pier, or indulge in the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities, including the hydro spa. (additional charges applies)
Day 4 After breakfast, we bid farewell to Torquay and the elegant Headland hotel after a final breakfast Reflect on the cherished memories of your festive themed getaway as we journey back home, hopefully leaving you filled with the Christmas spirit.
