Itinerary

Day 1 “Tis the season to be jolly! Enjoy the festive season as we travel to Winchester, England’s ancient capital. With its majestic architecture and bustling high street full of independent shops and cafes, it’s the perfect place to soak up some festive charm. After our stop, we continue to Weymouth and the welcoming Rex Hotel. Enjoy a drink, unwind, and settle in before our Christmas Eve dinner is served.

Day 2 This morning, we explore the Saxon-walled town of Wareham, beautifully nestled along the River Frome. Discover its charming Quay, traditional high street, and artisan shops. We then head to the delightful seaside town of Swanage, with its bustling town centre and historic Victorian pier. Tonight, we celebrate Christmas Day in style with a festive dinner and entertainment. Will you be on the naughty or nice list?

Day 3 Enjoy a scenic half-day excursion along the Jurassic Coast to the picture-postcard town of Lyme Regis. Breathe in the fresh sea air, stroll along the iconic Cobb harbour wall, explore charming streets, or simply sit back in a cosy café and watch the waves roll in. After time to explore we’ll return to the hotel to freshen up for dinner.

Day 4 After breakfast, we say goodbye to Weymouth and begin our journey home with a stop in the historic Cathedral City of Salisbury. Rich in heritage, this picturesque location is home to the world’s tallest medieval cathedral spire. Spend some time browsing the shops, taking in the half-timbered buildings, and picking up any last-minute Christmas treats before arriving home in the early evening.

Important information -There are 7 steps into the hotel with a handrail. Some rooms do have some steps after getting off the lift. Meals are served in the restaurant on the ground floor which does have lift access.
