Itinerary

Day 1 Your holiday begins with a leisurely drive to Portsmouth, where time permitting, you can enjoy a stroll along the historic waterfront of this famous maritime city. before boarding the ferry for a scenic crossing to the enchanting Isle of Wight, a place of timeless beauty and seaside charm. Sit back, relax, and take in the views as your island adventure begins. 

Day 2 Today we explore the remarkable Ventnor Botanic Garden, where a rare microclimate allows over 6,000 exotic plants to thrive. Stroll through lush landscapes inspired by the Mediterranean, Australia, and South Africa all in one magical location. This afternoon, we head to the Donkey Sanctuary, where over 100 rescued donkeys, ponies, and mules are lovingly cared for. A truly heartwarming visit that’s bound to leave you smiling. 

Day 3 A day at leisure in the charming seaside town of Shanklin, set along the island’s sunny southeast coast. Unwind on its golden beaches, meander through Shanklin Chine, a historic gorge of cascading waterfalls and lush woodland and explore the picturesque Old Village, with its quaint thatched cottages, tea rooms, and welcoming pubs. A perfect day to soak up the classic British seaside atmosphere. 

Day 4 Today we visit Cowes, the island’s elegant yachting capital steeped in royal and maritime history. From here, we embark on a leisurely Solent cruise, passing Osborne House, Norris Castle, and the historic Portsmouth Naval Base. After the cruise, you’ll have time to enjoy Cowes at your own pace. Browse boutique shops, sip a coffee by the marina, before we return to the hotel. 

Day 5 As our wonderful holiday draws to a close, we bid a fond farewell to Isle of Wight. Our homeward journey includes comfort stops along the way, a chance to stretch your legs, enjoy lunch, and reminisce about the memories made.
