Windsor Castle at Christmas

This winter, enjoy a festive visit to Windsor Castle, where the magnificent State Apartments are beautifully decorated for Christmas. A seasonal highlight is the impressive Nordmann Fir tree in St George’s Hall, sourced from Windsor Great Park and decorated with gold, iridescent glass and mirrored ornaments. The Castle showcases over 900 years of British history across its 26- acre site, including a royal palace, a stunning chapel, and the working and residential areas of the Castle community. Visitors can also admire the State Dining Room, where the table is laid with silver-gilt pieces from the magnificent Grand Service, commissioned by George IV Please note: coach drop-off is at the designated coach park in Windsor town centre. The route to the Castle involves an uphill walk, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
