Day 2 Our day begins with a visit to the historic market town of Haverfordwest, set along the banks of Western Cleddau River. After some free time to explore, we continue to St Davids – Britain’s smallest city and a jewel in Pembrokeshire’s crown. Discover its charming shops, galleries, and the magnificent St Davids Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace (entry fees apply), steeped in centuries of pilgrimage and legend.
Day 3 A full day to relax and enjoy Tenby at your leisure. Known for its cobbled streets, colourful Georgian houses and idyllic beaches, Tenby offers a blend of history and seaside charm. Stroll the ancient town walls, soak in the views from the picturesque harbour, or simply enjoy a coffee in one of the many independent cafés.
Day 4 Today we explore two of South Wales’ highlights. First, it’s on to Carmarthen, reputed to be one of the oldest towns in Wales and steeped in Celtic legend. Take time to browse its shops and visit the 12th-century castle, (entry fees apply) which once served as a jail. We then continue to the maritime city of Swansea, gateway to the Gower Peninsula. With its lively waterfront, beautiful beaches and rich history, there’s plenty to enjoy.
Day 5 As our holiday comes to an end, we bid a fond farewell to the delightful Pembrokeshire resort of Tenby and make our way home. We’ll make comfort stops along the way, allowing you to stretch your legs and reflect on the wonderful experience of your Pembrokeshire adventure.
