Itinerary

Day 1 Our delightful journey begins as we travel south to the picturesque coastal town of Bournemouth. With comfort stops along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenic drive. We arrive at the Sands Hotel in the late afternoon, where you can check in and relax before dinner.

Day 2 Today, we start with a visit to Lymington, a historic coastal town renowned for its rich heritage and a vibrant Saturday Street market. In the afternoon, we embark on a scenic spring drive through the breathtaking New Forest National Park, where you may spot some of the 5,000 ponies that roam freely. We’ll also visit one of the charming villages in the area, offering you a chance to explore and soak in the atmosphere of this beautiful region.

Day 3 Enjoy a leisure day to explore Bournemouth at your own pace and leisure. With over seven miles of award-winning Blue Flag golden beaches, a bustling town centre filled with excellent shops, bars, and restaurants, and a variety of interesting museums and attractions. Enjoy a stroll through the lush Winter Gardens, walk along the pier, or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea at a local tearoom.

Day 4 After a hearty breakfast, we will venture to Portsmouth, the historic heart of maritime England. Here, you can explore the Historic Dockyards and marvel at iconic ships like the Mary Rose, which was salvaged from the Solent in 1982. With so much to see and do, there is sure to be something to captivate your interest. (please note that entry to Dockyards not included)

Day 5 Sadly our seaside escape comes to an end. We bid farewell to Bournemouth. Before our final journey home, set off for a short visit to historic charming Winchester, where you can grab some lunch and perhaps explore the city’s quaint streets or Cathedral.
