Itinerary
Day 1 Enjoy a weekend escape on the enchanting English Riviera, where the charming village of Babbacombe awaits. This quaint village captivates visitors with stunning sea views, colourful promenade and picturesque buildings. After a comfortable journey with stops along the way, we will arrive at our cosy hotel late afternoon for complimentary tea or coffee.
Day 2 Today we venture to the Regency charm of Sidmouth, nestled beneath majestic red cliffs and lush hills of the glorious Sid Valley. Indulge in a famous Devon cream tea at a seafront café before visiting the heartwarming Donkey Sanctuary, home to over 500 rescued donkeys and mules. The sanctuary offers something for everyone, from farm trails, mazes to nature centres, and of course the opportunity to interact with these gentle creatures.
Day 3 Today we venture to the historic maritime gem of Plymouth, known as Britain’s Ocean City. Discover its captivating waterfront, rich naval history, and stunning coastal views, stroll through the atmospheric Barbican district, with its cobbled streets, independent shops and charming galleries. Visit the Mayflower Steps, from where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for America, or enjoy panoramic views from Plymouth Hoe.
Day 4 After a hearty breakfast, we visit the historic city of Exeter, brimming with culture and heritage. Marvel at the exterior of the magnificent cathedral, walk along the imposing Roman wall, or enjoy the picturesque quayside. Afterwards, we will begin our journey home, taking with us wonderful memories of our time on the English Riviera.
