Itinerary
Day 1 Sit back, relax and enjoy the journey as we head to the beautiful south coast and the elegant resort of Bournemouth. With its golden beaches and sparkling seafront, it’s the perfect place to begin the festive fun. After settling into our hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a lively evening of bingo and live entertainment.
Day 2 Today, we head out on a scenic drive through the enchanting New Forest National Park, visiting the pretty towns of Lyndhurst and Lymington. Take in the cosy festive charm, browse the shops, or enjoy a warming cuppa by the harbour. Back at the hotel, it’s time for a traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings followed by mince pies, coffee, and another evening of entertainment and festive cheer.
Day 3 Enjoy a day at your leisure in Bournemouth. A must is a visit to the Alpine Christmas Market. Browse amongst the chalets of food, drink and local craftspeople showcasing their festive goodies. A Christmas Tree Wonderland of over 100 glittering trees and illuminations create a spectacular walk from the market down to the seafront. In the evening, we have more bingo and live music at the hotel.
Day 4 After breakfast, we explore the delightful seaside town of Poole, famous for its historic harbour. You can visit the Dolphin shopping centre for the last minute Chirstmas Shopping. Tonight, we celebrate with a New Year’s Eve party, including dinner, fun, and a toast to the year ahead!
Day 5 As your festive break draws to a close, it’s time to bid farewell to Bournemouth. Begin the journey home with comfort stops along the way, including a break in the historic city of Winchester, where you can enjoy lunch and a final bit of sightseeing before continuing home.
