Blackwell Grange Hotel
Blackwell Grange Hotel is a stunning 17th Century mansion, which enjoys an enviable setting in the beautiful County Durham Countryside. After a busy day exploring the North East, you may wish to take advantage of the heated swimming pool, spa, solarium, sauna and gym.
Day 1 Travelling North making comfort stops en-route. We take our lunch break at The East Midlands Designer Outlet, before completing our journey to Darlington.
Day 2 Today a visit to Durham, a real jewel in the crown of the county. The Cathedral and Castle combine to give the City of Durham one of the most distinctive skylines in the world and a truly awesome city to visit.
Day 3 Today we visit Beamish, the award winning world famous Open Air Museum telling the story of the people of the North East of England. The story of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian life is told by the costumed staff.
Day 4 Its time to bid farewell but before we leave we have time in Darlington to either visit The Head of Steam Railway Museum (entrance aprox £4 not included) or some last minute shopping.
